This is the prettiest adult black bear that I encountered on my most recent visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
He came down from the mountain and was walking through the woods on his way to the berry patch in the Cades Cove meadow when he created the biggest traffic jam I’ve ever been stuck in while in the park.
He is standing on the edge of the woods, waiting to cross the road. I was in the car passing by when I shot this with my 600mm.
