Artist's Description

An Amish horse and buggy passes by the historic Brown Swiss Dairy barn in Shipshewana, Indiana.

Located in the heart of Indiana Amish County, Menno Yoder built this twelve-sided barn on the outskirts of Shipshewana in 1908. It is one of only two remaining polygonal poured concrete barns left in the state.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic places in 1993.
