Artist's Description

Renard the Fox sits at the corner of the Anheuser Busch Bevo Bottling Building in St. Louis, Missouri.

In 1916, when the military was the first to ban alcohol, Anheuser-Busch introduced Bevo, its nonalcoholic near-beer, placing the brewery in a perfect position to ramp up production when Prohibition rolled around in 1919.

About Susan Rissi Tregoning

Susan Rissi Tregoning

I'm a travel photographer that enjoys photographing United States architecture, nature, and transportation. My husband became a medical traveler, and I decided to put my career on hold to tag along. In the process, I found my roots again. What...
