Artist's Description

Bridge number seven on Seven Bridges Road in Autumn.

At just four miles long, Seven Bridges Road, named because of its numerous historic stone-arch bridges, is one of the more beautiful parkways in Duluth, Minnesota. There are actually nine original bridges along the drive, but two are now part of a hiking trail.

The road crisscrosses over Amity Creek before it meets back up with the Lester River and heads out to Lake Superior. Seven Bridges Road is the eastern terminus for Duluth, Minnesota’s famous Skyline Parkway.
