Artist's Description

This beautiful old street clock can be found standing in front of the Armbruster Jewelry store in historic Cedarburg, Wisconsin. The building with its green awnings and second story bay windows still looks the same as it did when it was built in 1907. The original sidewalk clock had to be replaced in 1922 after it was knocked down by a team of runaway horses pulling a wagon. The replacement seen here is cast iron and was made it Pennsylvania. It has been hit numerous times but has managed to stand the test of time.

My husband became a medical traveler, and I decided to put my career on hold to tag along. In the process, I found my roots again. What...
