Artist's Description

The balloons were up just in time for sunset.

About ten years ago, I attended the Centralia Balloon Fest for my first balloon glow. While this festival is only about 40 balloons, the arrangement around the pond with all the reflections on the water is stunning and rarely done elsewhere. I was thrilled to return to Centralia, Illinois, for a repeat in 2022!

This image was shot at the Friday night hot air balloon glow.
