Artist's Description

The storefront of the now-closed Chinese Tea Garden restaurant on the corner of Main and Main in Decatur, Illinois, looks like something out of a Chinatown movie scene. The restaurant's interior was used in 2008 for filming the movie, The Informant, starring Matt Damon and Scott Bakula.

The Chinese Tea Garden first opened in 1948, and the building is on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Decatur Downtown Historic District.
