Description
High atop Holy Hill, the highest elevation in southeastern Wisconsin, sits the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians. Built in 1926, this neo-Romanesque Roman Catholic Church has over 500,000 visitors from all over the world every year.
Located in the one of the spires of the basilica is a scenic tower. This tower stretches 192 feet from its base to its tip. The 178 stair climb takes you nearly to the top of the spire and awards you for your efforts with an amazingly breathtaking panorama of the Kettle Moraine area.
