The historic Illinois Central Railroad Depot in Arcola, Illinois.
Arcola’s second depot, this brick depot, was built in 1885 after the town's original station was lost to a fire in 1882.
After passenger train service in Arcola stopped, the depot was used for ticket sales and freight service until its complete closure in 1973. It was restored in the mid-1980s and has served as a museum and the Arcola Visitors Center ever since.
