Artist's Description

The Under-the-Hill Saloon is one of the oldest buildings in Natchez, Mississippi. While the exact date of construction is unknown, it was most likely built in the late 1700s or early 1800s. Although much tamer today, the bar once housed a brothel and was home to cut-throats, prostitutes, and thieves.
