The New Brownsville Covered Bridge, built in 1840, is the only long-truss bridge in Indiana. It originally sat across the East Fork of the Whitewater River near Brownsville, but today it is the focal point of the circular pond in Columbus, Indiana’s award-winning Mill Race Park.
