On Bridge Day 2023, a BASE jumper approaches the landing area after jumping off the 876-foot-high New River Gorge Bridge.

This event occurs on the third Saturday of October at the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve in Fayetteville, West Virginia. It is the only day of the year when BASE jumping from the New River Gorge Bridge is permitted.
