Description
A BASE Jumper stuck in a tree. Thankfully, he wasn’t injured.
This incident occurred shortly after what looked to be a severe mishap involving a female BASE jumper who was carried off on a backboard. As she was being taken away, she demonstrated signs of consciousness by moving her arm. Coming so shortly after the previous accident, you could feel the tension in the audience until this guy said, “No, I’m good.” His announcement prompted relief and laughter as one of his friends jokingly exclaimed, “Hey, you can't park there.”
Bridge Day occurs on the third Saturday of October at the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve in Fayetteville, West Virginia. It is the only day of the year when BASE jumping from the New River Gorge Bridge is permitted.
