On Bridge Day 2023, a BASE jumper prepares to land at the bottom of the New River Gorge after jumping off the New River Gorge Bridge, 876 feet above.

This event occurs on the third Saturday of October, at the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve in Fayetteville, West Virginia. It is the only day of the year when BASE jumping from the New River Gorge Bridge is permitted.
