The Fair St. Louis fireworks celebration featuring the Old St. Louis County Courthouse and the Gateway Arch.
The Old St Louis County Courthouse was completed in 1828. This Federal style courthouse was designed to be a combination federal and state courthouse and was Missouri's tallest habitable building until 1896 when Union Station was built. It was abandoned by the city in 1930. It is now part of the Gateway Arch National Park.
