Description
The Pella Depot is also known as the Chicago, Rock Island, and Pacific Passenger Depot. Located in Pella, Iowa, they provided train services to the area from 1878 - 1980. This historic brick depot was built in 1906 to replace the old frame building that originally sat here. It was used until 1973.
The Pella Corporation purchased the train depot, and after restoring the building, it now serves as their Rolscreen Museum.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
