Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

This hauntingly beautiful vine-covered church circa 1850, is the Rodney Baptist Church AKA Mt. Zion Baptist Church No. 1. Stylistically, this white-framed church is transitional Greek Revival – Gothic Revival. Built during the architecture transition from Greek Revival to Gothic Revival, the church combines elements from both styles.

Located close to the Mississippi River, repeated floods have caused the structure to weaken significantly; sadly, this building is considered severally threatened and will not last much longer. Notice the flood marks on the church. When I visited, it was drying out from its most recent flooding.

It is located in the ghost town of Rodney, Mississippi, and not too far off of the Natchez Trace Parkway.

About Susan Rissi Tregoning

Susan Rissi Tregoning

I'm a travel photographer that enjoys photographing United States architecture, nature, and transportation. As the 8th photographer in 4 generations of my family, I don't remember a time when photography was not part of my life. By the time I was five years old, I was standing on a stool in the darkroom, helping my dad develop pictures. It was my job to transfer the photos from the hypo to the water bath. I went to college for interior design. After I graduated, I had a long successful career as an art buyer and designer for a large home furnishings company. In 2006, I had a significant life change. My husband became a medical traveler, and I decided to put my career on hold to tag along. In the process, I found my roots again. What...
