A rusty 1950s Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe sedan is parked next to Cuba, Missouri's Wagon Wheel service station. While the gas station is no longer in business serving Route 66 travelers, it is part of the Wagon Wheel Motel historic district which included the Wagon Wheel Motel, Cafe and Service Station.
The Wagon Wheel Motel in Cuba, Missouri, is one of the great Route 66 motels. Still locally owned and operated, it has been in continuous operation since the day it opened and is said to be the earliest tourist court on Missouri Route 66 that is still in business as a motel today.
