Artist's Description

Just follow the canal to the Royal Amsterdam Hotel. You can just see the top of the windmill off to the left.

The Molengracht Plaza opened in 2001 just off the historic downtown area of Pella, Iowa. While newer construction, this beautiful complex with its Dutch-style canal certainly helps to bring that “Old World charm” to the city of Pella.

There is a working drawbridge at the center of the Plaza near the Pella Window and Doors store, and the Royal Amsterdam Hotel anchors the far end of the Molengracht, not far from the Vermeer Windmill.
