Artist's Description

This Harley-Davidson motorcycle is dated to the 1903-04 era. It is the oldest known Harley-Davidson in existence.

While many of its components are clearly marked as serial number one, it is not the first Harley motorcycle. At least one prototype was known to be built before this. This is the first true street-ready Harley-Davidson motorcycle and it is beyond a doubt the oldest Harley in existence.
