Queen duvet cover (88" x 88") featuring the image "Statesmen of Decay" by Susan Rissi Tregoning. Our soft microfiber duvet covers are hand sewn and include a hidden zipper for easy washing and assembly. Your selected image is printed on the top surface with a soft white surface underneath. All duvet covers are machine washable with cold water and a mild detergent.

Artist's Description

Exposed to the elements, cracked and crumbling in various stages of deterioration, these giant Presidential busts are surrounded by heavy equipment in an apocalyptic industrial wasteland where the mold and moss adds character and awesomeness to the entire experience.

They were once part of an educational park that went bankrupt during the recession of 2010; and now reside on private property near Williamsburg, Virginia. Each head stands 20 to 22 feet tall, weighing in somewhere between 15 to 20 tons. There are 42 heads in all; the collection ended with George W. Bush when the park closed.

Hard to find, Thomas Jefferson is in the back row, even though he is considered one of the “8 Great Presidents”.
