Description
Circa 1794-1810, this Greek Revival home know as Cherokee House is a private residence.
In the 1830’s many Natchez homes had stucco applied, painted, and scored to resemble cut stone. Cherokee is worth noting because it is the only home in Natchez to have it's exterior restored to the 1830s faux stone stucco appearance. The process is both costly and time-consuming.
Cherokee House is in Natchez, Mississippi.
