Product Details

Our premium yoga mats are 24" wide x 72" tall x 0.25" thick and made from natural rubber with a blended microfiber top surface.   The top of the mat has the image printed on it, and the back is solid black with textured dimples for better floor grip.

Artist's Description

The first Berry-Lincoln Store opened by Abraham Lincoln and William Berry in New Salem, Illinois.

Located next to the store within a fence to protect it is a very rare and fragile Wildgoose Plum Tree (prunus munsoniana). It was most likely planted during the 1930's recreation of the village and was named a US National Champion tree in 1989. The tree was damaged in a tornado and nearly destroyed but after ten years of loving care came back. It now has an offspring next to it.

Twenty-one-year-old Abraham Lincoln moved with his extended family to Macon County, Illinois, in March 1830, helping his father establish a farm. That following spring, in 1831, he set out on his own, moving to New Salem, Illinois.

The village, known today as Lincoln's New Salem State Historic Site, is a reconstructed frontier village that would have been lost to history if not for Abraham Lincoln.

As the 8th photographer in 4 generations of my family, I don't remember a time when photography was not part of my life. By the time I was five years old, I was standing on a stool in the darkroom, helping my dad develop pictures. It was my job to transfer the photos from the hypo to the water bath. I went to college for interior design. After I graduated, I had a long successful career as an art buyer and designer for a large home furnishings company. In 2006, I had a significant life change.
