Artist's Description

A short segment of the outstanding downtown architecture on Third Street in the Columbus, Indiana, Historic District.

The Art Deco Crump Theatre is in the foreground. Next to Crump’s is a colorful building considered an outstanding example of a Queen Anne Victorian commercial building dating to 1885 with a press metal cornice and window hoods. The next building dating to 1885, is the side of the Italianate Schwartzkopf Building. Above the Schwartzkopf Building, the Bartholomew County Courthouse clock tower can be seen.
