Description
This vintage cactus-shaped sign no longer stands in front of the Cactus Inn in McLean, Texas. While they kept the sign, it now resides in their truck and RV parking lot across the side street from the motel.
The Cactus Inn Motel is the last of the vintage Route 66 motels open for business in McLean. In the 1950s, it was the West Wind Motel, but the name changed to The Cactus Inn after it changed hands sometime in the mid-1960s.
