Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

The house of Cajun rancher, Louis Arceneaux, he named his ranch Beau Bassin to honor the French settlement Beaubassin in his former homeland.

The Beau Bassin home built in the 1840s uniquely blends Cajun, Creole, and American architecture. The square columns on the porch are American Greek Revival, but the colombage and bousillage construction techniques are Cajun and Creole.

La Maison Beau Bassin is at the Vermilionville Living History Museum, an early Acadian settlement using original restored structures dating from 1765 to 1890. Vermilionville was the name given to the settlement near Bayou Vermilion that eventually grew to be Lafayette, Louisiana.

I went to college for interior design. After I graduated, I had a long successful career as an art buyer and designer for a large home furnishings company. In 2006, I had a significant life change. My husband became a medical traveler, and I decided to put my career on hold to tag along. In the process, I found my roots again. What...
