Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

An elevated view of the 1879 Bollman Iron Truss Bridge and C&O Canal from the Western Maryland Railway Lift Bridge in Williamsport, Maryland.

This Iron Truss Bridge is just a short distance from the Western Maryland Railway Lift Bridge. Wendel Bollman was Patapsco Bridge and Iron Works chief engineer when they built this bridge in 1879. Bollman, a self-taught engineer, pioneered the "Bollman Truss" design used to build over 100 bridges. Very few are still in existence today.

The Williamsport Iron Truss Bridge sat neglected from 1915 until the 1960s. Only a wooden walkway has been added to this historically restored one-lane bridge. The bridge is still used to cross the C&O Canal on West Salisbury Street to reach the Williamsport Park and Boat Docks.

It is part of the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park.

By the time I was five years old, I was standing on a stool in the darkroom, helping my dad develop pictures. It was my job to transfer the photos from the hypo to the water bath. I went to college for interior design. After I graduated, I had a long successful career as an art buyer and designer for a large home furnishings company. In 2006, I had a significant life change. My husband became a medical traveler, and I decided to put my career on hold to tag along. In the process, I found my roots again. What...
