Artist's Description

The late afternoon sun’s rays beam down over the Hale O Kalo farm. Hale O Kalo which translates to the House of Taro is a beautiful taro farm surrounded by the towering Waipio Valley cliff walls on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Waipio Valley is located along the Hamakua Coast on the northeast shore of the Big Island of Hawaii, this valley is the largest and most southern of the seven valleys on the windward side of the Kohala Mountains. About Susan Rissi Tregoning

Susan Rissi Tregoning

I'm a travel photographer that enjoys photographing United States architecture, nature, and transportation. My husband became a medical traveler, and I decided to put my career on hold to tag along. In the process, I found my roots again. What...
