A barn that I found behind a pretty white fence and gate along the edge of the woods on the grounds of Melrose in Natchez, Mississippi. It wasn’t on the map for the plantation grounds, so I don’t believe it was anything special, most likely just the maintenance shed, but it sure was striking among all the fall colors. When I first saw it, it took my breath away.

As the 8th photographer in 4 generations of my family, I don't remember a time when photography was not part of my life.
