Artist's Description

The New Mexico Museum of Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The building, constructed in 1917, was designed by architect Isaac Rapp. The museum is one of Santa Fe’s best-known representations of the Pueblo Revival style of architecture.

The façade is based on the mission churches Acoma, San Felipe, Cochiti Laguna, Santa Ana, and Pecos and represents the synthesis of Native American and Spanish Colonial styles.
