This image pretty well sums up everything I love about the Nebraska Sandhills …birds, trains, and scenic rolling hills.
I shot this just outside of Lakeside, Nebraska. We had just turned off of the Sandhills Journey National Scenic Byway onto Highway 250 and were working our way around this wetland area photographing a variety of birds when the train arrived.
